BEST Moldoval is extremely pleased to take you back to Moldova’s historical times and invite you to sit around the dinner table in the “Casa Mare”, a traditional living room in Moldovan peasant houses. Besides sightseeing the rocks of Orheiul Vechi, in the peasant cottages made out of straw and mud, you will get the chance to light the stove fire. Moreover, the women of the house will show you and invite you to take part in dough moulding, dove-shaped bread making (Easter Dove)! We will cook together cheese and cabbage pies in traditional oven and afterwards enjoy them with a glass of mulled or fresh wine!

The next day, after a traditional peasant breakfast, we will explore the rocks of Orheiul Vechi and visit the nearby monastery, led by a guide who is familiar with local legends and tales.

1st day:
Transfer from Chisinau to Orheiul Vechi;
Check-in at the eco resort “Butuceni”;
Lunch, free time;
Master class - baking pies and braided bread (Easter Dove)
Supper, free time (you can opt for wood-heated sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi).
2nd day:
Breakfast;
Tour of the Historical Complex “Orheiul Vechi”;
Transfer from Orheiul Vechi to Chisinau.

Technical details: the route in both directions is 120 km long;
Dress code for visiting the monastery: sports shoes, trousers for men; trousers and skirts reaching below the knees for women; tops without cleavage; women must cover their heads with headscarves.
On the territory of Orheiul Vechi, which is a nature reserve, it is prohibited to pick flowers, needlegrass and other field plants.
