Panama Canal Partial Transit,

The Panama Canal was built in August 15, 1914 by the United States in the Republic of Panama narrowest point, a 50 mile width of the istmus.  This canal and its zone played a major role in our  political history. Take your only oportunity to sail through the Panama Canal, an engineering feat that still operates its lock system that has over 100 years ! This canal cruise is considered Panamas Highlight among many travelers and tour companies . A unique cruise on board the Pacific Queen a 120 ft. vessel with  285 people capacity offers an exciting trip that makes you understand with ease how this structure works. You will also learn about its history and engineering with one of the best Canal Transit Narrators in Panama ! The vessel is a 3 deck boat thats equiped with  its sundeck ( 70%shade 30% sun ) with breeze in your seat while enjoying the great view of the Canal. Its also equiped with middle and lower airconditioned decks that provide areas to relax, have your meal, or use the Bar !

The partial transits consist of raising the ship from sea level to 85ft above. You will be on board this vessel form the Pacific entrance up to the Dredging Division  which is the half point of the canal.

Cruising a Partial Transit on the Pacific Queen will take you on a  NorthBound transit which starts at Flamenco Island, sails through Miraflores locks and Pedro Miguel, goes through the famous Gaillard Cut, and ends at the dredging division ( Gamboa Town ).

Depending on Pacific Queen and Panama Canal arrangements, southbound transits will be scheduled.

SouthBound transit is the reverse of the NorthBound.

Tour Includes:

Pacific Queen partial transit fee, Hotel Pickups in City hotels or Gamboa Resort or Playa Bonita (no extra charge for these hotel), seperate transport service with shared private vehicle from hotel-pier-hotel, Lunch included, soft drinks, coffee, water, and  English speaking Narrator on board.

*If staying at Gamboa or Playa bonita expect additional 30min for other drop offs in the city hotels. 

*last minute departure time changes are common, due to Panama Canal schedules

You will always be transported with my private vehicles sharing with other guest that also required my transport service for the transit. No need to use large buses wich are used for the rest of the passengers on board.

No surcharge for pick up at Gamboa Resort, Westin, or Playa Bonita !!
