Along with a professional career in Tourism, Public relations, Education and Translation, a wealth of experience in Cultural and Communications Operations has allowed me to develop a unique set of transferable hard and soft skills, through working with Guests, Tourism Agencies, Government Agencies, NGOs and the Academic World. I worked for British Council, the United Kingdom’s cultural relations organisation.

As a Tour Guide (German, English, Spanish, Portuguese) I organize and provide Guided Tour Services to guests visiting Portugal. I am bilingual and bicultural, German and Portuguese and worked as a Tour Guide for the first time in 1994.
Guided Tour Services include accompanying Groups, or as Private Tour Guide, throughout the country from north to south. I strive for new ways to keep History alive and Tourism appealing and exciting for Visitors as well as showcase what true Portuguese hospitality is all about.
As an internationally experienced professional I lived in Spain, worked in multi-cultural environments and have an academic background in Tourism Information as well as a Degree in Marketing.
My Tourism Information education included history of arts, architecture, history, culture, landscape, people, geography, geology, economy, politics contemporary Portugal, gastronomy and wines.
I find myself enthusiastic about my homeland Portugal and its history. I will be delighted to tell you all about Portugal’s old history, show you the beautiful landscapes, castles, old well preserved villages, nature, the world-heritage monuments, gastronomy and traditions.
