    Coming from the world over, our guides : French, British, Germans, are conscious of the rare privilege of living in Chamonix, the cradle of alpinism, exploring each day a little more of this magnificent site.
From our viewpoint each course is important and unique as we are well aware of just how special your time in the mountains is.

    Light, space, silence, beauty, greatness. Contact with the abstract... Is this our strength?... Altitude, the ice, the granite and the void... Familiarity does not always breed contempt. And it is this environment we have chosen to live from our passion.

    Located in the pedestrian zone of downtown Chamonix, our office is the ideal location to realize your ultimate projects. Call or visit us ; Florence, our charming secretary, will be there to advise and assist you.

    In 1975, four guides : Patrice and Gilles Bodin, Patrick Cordier and Jean Afanassieff created the Independant Association of Mont Blanc Guides. Two years ago, we adopted our current name since welcoming foreign guides (English, Italian and German) into our association.

    Operating for the last 25 years, our association now includes 35 permanents high mountains guides, one paragliding instructor and 30 additional part-time guides. Our office is open year-round.

    Our guides will be happy to take you climbing, skiing or hiking in the most beautiful ranges in the Alps : Mont Blanc, Valais and Oberland in Switzerland, Monte Rosa and Grand Paradiso in Italy, Oetztal an Silvretta in Austria...
    As our guides are also well travelled, they organize climbing and trekking expeditions in montain ranges the world over.
