This battlefield has changed greatly since 1815, but nevertheless dotted with historical buildings and commemorative monuments that we will visit.
At the foot of the "Butte de Lion" an interesting visitors center, has an audio-visual presentation which takes the audience into the very heart of events of June 18th.
Several other places of interest will be visited. Some among them, the Panorama, a huge fresco, with sound effects, transporting you to the heart of the battle.
The Wellington Museum, the inn where the Duke of Wellinton set up its headquarters.

I liked the tour very much, the program had been informative and interesting. I liked Waterloo. Mike's work is good. This tour is not the first for me, but I never met such interesting guide. I want to travell with him once again.
In general, the impressions from the excursion in Waterloo are good, it is a very interesting place. The Panorama, the Wellington Museum, "Le Caillou" farm - everything is very interesting and you feel like you are in that 1815. Magnificent.

I just wanted to provide some excellent feedback on our Waterloo tour guide Michael Eyns from Belgium. We spent a day with Michael last week visiting the key sites around Waterloo. He also took us for lunch to a fantastic historic farm restaurant and a medieval castle. We were travelling with our 2 sons (ages 11 & 5) and Michael made the whole experience enjoyable for them as well as us. He is friendly, knowledgable and made sure that we saw the key sites in the area. I have a much greater appreciation for the Battle of Waterloo as a result, and my sons will no doubt remember their day with Michael when they study Napoleon in school. Kudos to him and also glad to know about your site as we travel a lot and use private guides frequently. Best, John
