I am South African and passionate about Africa. I am a fully qualified National Field guide and Tourist guide (they are different!) with over 15 years experience and I have a Masters Degree. Having travelled to over 70 countries world wide (and worked in many of them) I am comfortable in diverse cultures and with different nationalities. I have also travelled the full length of Africa, and either by foot or by vehicle through nearly all Africa's major Game Reserves. I have studied the history and culture, geology and geography, flora and fauna of southern Africa. My speciality is small groups or families (up to eight people - children welcome) tailor made or special interest tours. These range from short/long cultural tours to see the beauty of southern Africa or just around Johannesburg and Pretoria. Then theres the short/long Safaris into the African bush. These can either be walking/camping safaris or to luxury Game Lodges. Safaris amongst the Big 5 (actually there is a lot more than just the big 5!). Also long tours covering the whole of souhern Africa. I know my way around and go to many places off the beaten (tourist) track.
