This tour focuses its attention at the very heart of Rio de Janeiro – its historical centre. We shall begin with Confeitaria Colombo and taste pure Brazilian coffee. Afterwards we will move to the famous Praca Tiradentes square. Surprisingly, but it is named after a Brazilian dentist who was the leader of the rebellion against the Portuguese in the middle of the 18th century. We will also take a look at the Imperial palace, which is a very important cultural centre in Rio. Moreover it is distinguished by its astonishing colonial architecture. It is worth noting that Paco Imperial also used to be the dwelling of a royal family, and later served many goals and purposes.
