Nessebar is a very small place, but it has so much to offer! Explore its numerous medieval churches, Roman and Byzantine landmarks and one of the UNESCO heritage sites, all located within a few steps from each other!

This small patch of land with an area of less than a square mile, Nessebar is known of its high concentration of various attraction and the genuine Bulgarian flavor, which is felt in every step you take while strolling through the old town. 

Nessebar was an important centre of Christian Orthodox culture, and many icons where painted exactly in this small town and its numerous churches. We’ll enter one some of these churches and explore the sites where other older churches were located. We’ll also visit the remnants of an old Roman temple that is located just around the corner. Many private tour guides in Varna prefer Nessebar because of its proximity and large number of interesting places. Besides, you can buy different souvenirs or taste the local cuisine in one of the several restaurants located on the small peninsula. 

After spending most of our time in Nessebar we will also visit the small town of Pomorie located nearby. First we’ll enter the active monastery, which has a very long story and features many traditional Orthodox icons and artifacts.  Then we’ll enter one of the numerous wine cellars and get the opportunity to taste some of the best wines this region is famous for.
