Dr Michael Cohen is a native New Yorker. He received his PhD from Columbia Unversity in 1996, Dr Cohen has been studying and exploring the temples of Angkor since receiving his Ph.D. in Biology from Columbia University in 1996. Spending his time between Cambodia and the skyscrapers of New York City, he completed a post-doctorate position at the Mount Sinai Medical School, and was an analyst on the trading floor of J.P. Morgan. Recently, Michael served as a technical consultant for a multi-national biotechnology company, specializing in molecular cloning. He has now returned to his true love: exploring the city of Angkor and many of the more remote temples. An experienced guide, Michael has led many expeditions to these sites and is constantly rewarded with new adventures.
