Our guide and driver will pick you up at your San Jose area hotel around 2pm, From there you will visit the Cafe Britt coffee plantation and processing facility. Enjoy a unique tour, live performance and taste samples of Costa Rica's best coffee. After that you will be transported to one of Costa Rica's best valley view restaurants. From the hills of Aserri and only 8 miles from San Jose is a mountain restaurant managed by the owners since 1967. Wednesday is Tierra Tica (Land of the Costa Rican woman) night performance. 7:00PM A buffet of Tico beef Stew, Fish, Scabeche, Pozol (corn and pork) Plantain Ceviche, Green pea salad with peanuts, native salad, rice with hearts of palm, red beans with pork ribs, beef with potatoes, chopped arracache, stuffed sweet peppers, chicken chalupas, meat balls in sauce, enyucados, cheese empanadas, tico sausage with tortilla, chimol sauce, home made tortillas, coconut sweet, tropical fruits, sweet rice, soft drinks, fruit punch, coffee tico bread and believe it or not more. Alcoholic beverages, Guaro Cacique (local sugar cane liquor) red rum, gin beer, blackberry wine etc. 7:45PM Marimba music 8:00PM Folk dance. Professional groups present costumes from different regions of Costa Rica. Program translated in to English. 8:45PM Small rustic peasant band does mascarade of Spanish influence. 9:15PM The Giants dance and fireworks 10:00PM show ends While the show is in process there are two places in the restaurant with artisans working in wood, painting chicken feathers, making little ox carts, working in leather and other handicrafts that make your visit to Ram Luna an unforgettable experience.
