My name is Aladdin Abo Elhaggag A. Ahmed.
I'm an English speaking tour guide and an Egyptologist , I arrange tailor made tours for groups and individuals in air conditioned vehicles for reasonable prices.
I'm a professional experienced tour guide with a degree in Egyptology since 1997, I'm based in Luxor , and I arrange sightseeing tours all over Upper Egypt ( South of Egypt) : Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Dendera and Abydos.
I started my career in 1997, I worked with several leading travel agencies as well as individual travelers. I have a great command of English and a very good experience in dealing with different cultures and backgrounds such as Americans, British, Irish, Canadians, Australians, Swedish, Danish among others.
I have a license from the ministry of tourism, license no 835 Luxor , since 1997, and I am a member of EGTGS ( Egyptian General Tourist Guides Syndicate) since 1997 too.
I got my license after I got a degree in Egyptology after studying for four years at University.
I studied Egyptology , Ancient Egyptian, Greco-Roman, Coptic and Islamic History, Geography, Monuments, Religions and Culture. I also have the experience and passion to show travelers the real Egypt.
Before I became a tour guide, I used to work in hotels in Luxor and Aswan in Summer Vacation, so I'm used to dealing with tourists, even before I got this job.
Actually I'm a well travelled person, it was one of my dreams to travel abroad to know more about other cultures and people, so I got this great opportunity of making friendship with many guests from everywhere, so I visited a few European Countries in the last few years :
Germany and Austria in 1999
UK in 2000 , 2001 and 2002
Republic of Ireland in 2001 and 2002
So now I have friends all over the world.
Working in this field for such a long time, now I have so many contacts all over Egypt, and this enables me to arrange any tours clients might ask for. |
