The Holy Family Trip.

Arrive Cairo Airport, The Great Pyramids of Giza and The Alabaster Sphinx, The Egyptian Museum, Coptic Sites, Holy Family in lower Egypt,Pharaonic temple, Greco-Roman Monument, Pompy's Pillar, Catacombs of Kom El Shogafa, Roman Amphitheatre.

We arrange programs for this trip start from 2 days (only in Cairo) for groups or individuals till 10 days for groups only to cover most of that places in upper & lower Egypt

Day 1
Arrive Cairo Airport and direct transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2
Full day tour to visit The Great Pyramids of Giza and The Alabaster Sphinx, Proceed to visit The Egyptian Museum. Back to hotel and overnight.

Day 3 ( Lunch is included on this day )
Start to visit the Coptic Sites that were visited by the Holy Family in lower Egypt. Leave Cairo for TAL BASTA visit St. Mary's spring which started to flow when JESUS passed by. Surrounded by ruins of an ancient Pharaonic temple. "Behold, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud comes to Egypt, and the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence" (ISA 19:1). Drive to DAKADOUS, visit St. Mary's church which was built on top of 2 churches dating back to the 4th & the 13th Centuries. Drive to SAKHA, visit St. Mary's church. In this village the Holy child left his foot print on a rock. Proceed to ALEXANDRIA and overnight.

Day 4
Visit some Greco-Roman Monument like Museum, Pompy's Pillar, Catacombs of Kom El Shogafa and Roman Amphitheatre. Rest of day free at Leisure.Overnight at hotel in Alexandria.

Day 5 ( Lunch is included on this day )
Drive back to Cairo (220 km) with a visit to a Coptic monastery In Wadi EL NATRUN on the midway to Cairo. Arrive Cairo and check in your hotel for an overnight.

Day 6
Visit places that were visited by the HOLY FAMILY in Cairo and beyond. Leave to MOSTORD, where Jesus caused a water spring to flow. Proceed to MATARYA where the Holy Mother washed clothes of her son, and from the water God caused a fragrant plant to grow, "Balsam". There is also St. Mary's tree to visit. Drive to ZEITOUN, visit St. Mary's church where she appeared on - on April 1968. Proceed to OLD CAIRO where the FAMILY stayed in a cave for some time, which became a part of St. SERGIUS CHURCH. Drive down to MAADI to visit St. Mary's monastery and church on the Nile River where an open bible was found floating. This is where the FAMILY started their trip to Upper Egypt by boat. Felucca ride on the Nile from same point they sail to Upper Egypt. Back to hotel and overnight.

Day 7 ( Lunch box is included on this day )
Leave Cairo to EL-MENYA, visit GABAL EL TAIR. Here it was said that a huge block of stone was about to fall on the boat of the FAMILY, from the mountain. The virgin was frightened but Jesus stretched his hand and prevented the rock from failing and left his palm print on it. (This rock is now in the London Museum). Visit St. Mary's Church & Monastery also called the cave church. There is an altar in the cave where they stayed. Proceed to El-MENYA, dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 8 ( Lunch box is included on this day )
Leave El - Menya to Assiout with visits to BENI HASSAN'S cemetery , which dates from the second millennium BC. Proceed to TEL EL-AMARNA, which is well known because of its association with Akhnaton, the monotheist. Drive to Monastery of EL MUHARRAQ at QOSQAM MOUNTAIN, visit the church of the holy virgin. The Holy Family stayed for six months and some days there, it is the first church was established in the world. "There shall be an altar to the LORD in the land of Egypt"(isa19:19). There is a ROCK where Jesus was sitting on. And St. Joseph was sleeping on when the angel appeared to him and told him to go back to JERUSALEM. It was in a hut where Joseph had the dream in which the angel of the Lord appeared to him and informed him of Herod's death and bidded him to take the Holy child and his mother and return to the land of Jerusalem. "out of Egypt I called my son"(mat 2:15)( hos 11:1). Proceed to ASSIOUT, dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 9 ( Lunch is included on this day )
Drive to MONASTERY OF DRONKA at the mountain of Assiout, there is a cave in that mountain which they stayed for some time. And from here they started their trip back to Jerusalem. Drive back to CAIRO, check in your hotel for an overnight.

Day 10
Leave to Cairo airport for your home flight
