It is the most important prehistoric site in England and is unique throughout the whole world. Now a 'World Heritage Site' and surrounded by other ancient burial sites, it encompasses some 5000 years of history. You will have the opportunity to walk around the huge stones that form the circle and form your own opinion about the people who once lived here and why they decided to build this huge monument.
