Arriving Accra, Ghana you will visit a lot of different places of interest like Cape Coast, Kumasi and Busua Beach Resort. So, after this 11-days explore Ghana tour you will never forget this fascianating side visiting famous Aburi Botanical Gardens.

DAY 1 - ARRIVE ACCRA, GHANA

International flight arrives in Accra, Ghana. You will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. Rest, relax. Dinner and overnight at Novotel Hotel.

DAY 2 - ACCRA Orientation.

City Tour of Accra to see the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial, Independence Arch, National Theater and the W.E.B. Dubois Pan African Center. Visit the crafts and carving center. Overnight at Novotel Hotel

DAY 3 - ACCRA- CAPE COAST

Depart to Cape Coast and Elmina, arriving late morning for a brief tour of the city of Cape Coast. Tour Elmina Castle, a World Heritage site where slaves were held before being sent to the New World followed by a walk through the town of Elmina. In the afternoon, visit the Volta Fishermen's Community, a coastal village with traditional industries and Volta style houses. Dinner and overnight at Coconut Grove Resort or similar.

DAY 4 - CAPE COAST

After breakfast, drive to Kakum National Park for a Nature Walk in the Rain Forest. Experience the Aerial Canopy Walkway giving you a birds-eye view of the forest. In the late afternoon take a tour of Cape Coast Castle, another World Heritage Site. Overnight at Coconut Grove Resort or similar.

DAY 5 - KUMASI

Depart to Kumasi the realm of the Ashanti Kingdom. We pass through Obouasi, the location of the Ashanti Goldfields one of the richest mines in the world. Arrive in Kumasi late afternoon, check into your hotel. In the evening, take an excursion to the village of Bonwire, the locale where the famous Royal Kente Cloth is made. Overnight at Miklin Hotel or similar.

DAY 6 - KUMASI

Visits to the craft villages of Pankrono (pottery), Ahwiaa (woodcarving), and Ntonso (adinkra) cloth. Visit the Kumasi Cultural Center. In the afternoon, visit the Kumasi Central Market the largest in West Africa, followed by a visit to Manhiyia Palace for an audience with the (Asanthene) Ashanti King or members of his Royal Court. Ovenight at Miklin Hotel or similar.

DAY 7 - KUMASI--BUABENG FIEMA MONKEY SANCTUARY

Depart Kumasi for the village of Buabeng Fiema where Sacred Monkeys live in harmony with the community. You will likely interact with the monkeys. In the evening drive to Lake Bosomtwi where you may cruise on the lake. Dinner and overnight at Miklin Hotel or similar

DAY 8 - KUMASI-BUSUA BEACH RESORT

Depart KUMASI for Busua Beach resort in Ghana's Western region. Here you may enjoy water sports and other activities. Take a Canoe ride to visit a nearby Busua Island. Go on a walking tour to visit Fort Metal Cross at Dixcove. Overnight at Busua Beach Resort or similar.

DAY 9 - BUSUA BEACH RESORT-- ACCRA

Depart to Accra, arriving early afternoon in Aburi for lunch and a visit to the 100 year-old Aburi Botanical Gardens. Mid-afternoon: Visit the woodcarvers and drum makers of Aburi before continuing to Accra. Overnight at Novotel

DAY 10 - ACCRA

Morning visit to La Mantse. The Chief's hospitality includes a cultural performance. Afternoon at leisure. This evening you are the guest at a traditional family dinner. Overnight at Novotel hotel.

DAY 11 - OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES---DEPARTURE

Today decide on your tour and activities with the assistance of your driver and guide. Day room provided at Novotel or similar. Final preparation before late evening departure home.
