This tour takes you in the heart of Athens, It's a walking tour in the most representative part of the city center. There is a choice of visiting the famous Acropolis of Athens and its museum,which is the symbol of greek civilisation, the Philopapus hill, the birhplace of democracy, which is the ancient Athenian agora along with the roman forum., the majestic temple of Olympian Zeus, the theater of Dionysus where all the tragedies of the ancient world you know, where presented to the athenian public, and finally the keramikos district, which was the entrance of the ancient city of Athens..
There is a short break for lunch and coffee in the old city by the footsteps of the Akropolis, in coffee places and restaurants that match mainly with your interests and food likings, with me prompt to give you any possible advice on that. In the afternoon we can visit the archeological museum of Athens where you can see the main exhibits of all ancient times that made ancient greek art so famous and the base for the following evolution of the world's art. *There is also the possibillity of an optional short stop at a ceramics factory upon request.
Any changing in this order or to ommit some sites is based on the clients personal needs and interests. Time schedules of the sights are though, to be highly considered, regarding to the season.
The tour is done on foot(comfortable shoes are highly recommended), or by bicycle(renting one is charged directly to the client-not included in the price)but in case of bad weather check for availability in car renting.
