Visit the port of Piraeus known since the ancient times for the fortification walls of Themistocles, and the wealth of Athens. Remains can still be seen (like remains of the wall that once protected Athens and its port and the replica of the lion of Piraeus) or can be carefully examined in the archeological museum of Piraeus.
Visit the Castella hill (exceptional view on the aegean sea), the mikrolimano(small port), the paschalimani (pascha's port),the marina of Zea and Faliron, pass by the main port of piraeus where the ferries leave to get passangers to the islands, see the cathedral of Piraeus, the important neoclassical buildings of the town hall and the theatre. Spend some time in the triumph's hall of Olympiakos (the official team of Piraeus) and the stadium Karaiskaki or the one of Peace and frienship just to get to know few things about the glory of this team (the stadiums are not fully accessible-no tour can take place in the inner part of the stadiums).
Visit also some of piraeus districts where the first immigrants arrived and pass by the industrial zone. There is the possibillity of a coffee break or an enjoyable meal by the sea upon request.
This tour is a combination of metro and car driving. If other public means of transprortation are desired (to make the tour more enjoyable, please consult me upon arrival)
