We created our programme, called Jewish Cultural Heritage in Budapest, considering that the biggest Jewish population in Eastern-Europe lived always in Budapest. With this programme we would like to help you to get acquainted with this heritage.
Not only do you visit the Synagogue and the Jewish Museum during our 2,5 hour long guided programme, but it also gets you to know how the Dohány street Synagogue managed to survive the years of the World War II. The tour includes visiting the Memorial Cemetery, the Tree of Life in the Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Park, the Carl Lutz Memorial and the Kazinczy street orthodox Synagogue as well.At the end of the tour you can also have a taste of some Central-European traditional Jewish food.
