Two-thirds of Hungary is plain where you would think there is nothing, mere nothing - that is what we call PUSZTA in Hungarian but in fact this place offers a charming world to explore. The PUSZTA is the cradle of rural life and it shows you how our ancestors used to live centuries ago. We have a short walk in Kecskemet (capital of Puszta) to visit the art-nouveau buildings then go to an authentic Puszta ranch. Enjoy a horse carriage ride (great fun) and visit the typical Hungarian farm animals such as grey cows, pigs, donkeys, shepherd dogs, etc. The highlight of the Puszta is a traditional breathtaking horse show performed by boisterous herdsmen. Afterwards a delicious rural meal is served (included) in the ranch-tavern accompanied by live Gipsy music.
