Term of programme: Discover the primary sights of Budapest by bus and by foot with a three-hour tour. This tour includes the Opera House, Heroes' Square, Gellért Hill, the castle district, and the Parliament buildings. Details: From Erzsebet Square, drive past the Opera House and stop for a photo at the Millenium Memorial in Heroes' Square. Cross Erzsébet Brige for another break at Gellért Hill before enjoying a 45-minute stroll around the castle district. Then, board your bus once more for the return journey, sweeping over Margit Bridge and past the Parliament building. A courtesy hotel pick-up service is available from all hotels in central Budapest. If you wish to use this service, you must call Program Centrum to confirm your hotel location and pick-up time. Pick-up will take place approx. 30 minutes before the tour's scheduled departure time. If you are not staying in a serviced hotel, or if you don't wish to be collected, you may meet the tour at the departure location. The full address will appear on your printed voucher. Commentary is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Hungarian, Japanese, Swedish, Finnish, Hebrew, and Dutch. The 10 AM tour offers commentary via headphones only. The 11 AM and 2:30 PM tours offer commentary from a guide in English and German. Between Nov. and March, the 1:30 PM tour offers live commentary in English and German. Children younger than 13 years participate for free.
