A day visit to rice terrace in Tegalalang than Water Spring in Sebatu.
The trip proceed to the Batur area, Instead just seeing the view from Penelokan which most people do the trip will also take you down to Toyabungkah to get closer to the foot of Mount Batur and to get only a few step from the Lake Batur. A good chance to touch the black volcanic stone. Heading back to Penelokan to have lunch in one of the restaurant in the area. After lunch, we proceed to Gunung Kawi Temple in Tampaksiring.
An interesting archeological temple with carved rock on the hill. It is located in a beautiful Pakerisan River valley and required to walk down on the paved stairs for about 1,5 kilometers.
Approximate duration: 7 to 8 hours departing from Ubud or Sanur and 9 to 10 hours departing from Kuta, Jimbaran, or Nusa Dua. Best depart at 8 AM or 9 AM.
