He is married to Paola, an English literature professor. They have two children, teenagers, Chiara and Raffael ... Commissario Brunetti loves eating... When he walks through the colourful market in the Rialto area he hopes his wife will buy him some of the asparagus, some of the cicory etc... He loves stopping in his favorite bar for a glas of wine ... He lives over in the district of San Polo, from his apartment on the 4th floor he sees the top of the brick belltower of St. Polo ... from the terrace the view on the Grand Canal is just incredible !!!
