For those who do not wish to stay 2 hours long in the same building, we will start from St. Mark's Church and the delightful view of St Mark’s from Terrace. You admire the breathtaking mosaics in St. Mark’s Church including the Pala d’Oro (2 Euro) and/or the Terrace (copper horses 4 Euro). You visit St. Mark’s Square, the former political centre of the Venetian Republic, the Doge’s Palace, once the seat of the government, and the Bridge of Sighs will be both explained from the outside. By boat then we will admire the Grand Canal, the unbroken sequence of 300 palaces and pass underneath the famous Rialto bridge! Through the smaller canals we will then return to the city centre.
