Mediterranean Coastal Tour In Roman times the Tripolitania province had three cities, called Tripolis, Leptis Magna, Oea (now the modern Tripolis) and Sabratha. Sabratha was to a large extent the one with least wealth, yet there are structures here that gives a lot of sense to the idea of visiting it. SIX DAY  Day One: - Arrival at Airport meets assistance, transfer to hotel, and dinner at Restaurant.
Day two: - Full day at Sabratha city (Roman city). Sabratha was constructed in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD, but it did survive longer than its big brother, Leptis Magna. As is the case with many ancient cities in North Africa, it was the arrival of the Arabs, that resulted in the final decline. The town of Sabratha has grown up in between the ruins, adding a special charm to the place. Passing through Sabratha, form the town, you end up at the long beaches, making Sabratha an excellent place to stay for a couple of days. Day three: - Tripoli old town - National museum – Spanish Fortress-Arch of Marcus.  Tripoli has one of the best old cities in the Arabic world, where the merchants are almost not aiming at selling souvenirs to foreigners. If it was possible, the Libyans here are even more friendly than Libyans in general, and they are not going for your money. This has to do with Libyas economy being far better than in the poorer neighbour countries, but not so heaped up that old traditions have lost its true content. Tripoli's old city is a must for female travellers wanting to get away from the showers of dirty proposals common in neighbouring Tunisia.
Day four: - Full day at western mountain of Nafosa (Berber culture)-back to hotel- Dinner at Restaurant Day five: - Full day at Marble city of Leptis Magna (Garden of vineyards). Day six: - Back to airport for your departure.
