I've been a tour guide for 18 years now, I decided to become a tour guide because my father he was one and he taught me all he kwow of his bussiness, Even tough I´m not the only one in my family i´m really the third generation of tourist guides because my grandfather he was what in those days was know in mexico as driver/interpreter (1920).
I´m proud of being a tour guide and to have the chance of showing my country and my city, I have been working most with bussinessmen that need a quick tour or transportation, because mexico city is a destination mainly for bussiness, but it´s common that in wekends we can do tours to nearby cities like Cuernavaca or Puebla. I have travel to places like Europe, Canada United States, Argentina and Peru, so i have been teling the other side of the story,
I´ve been also a tourist so I kwow how it feels to arrive into an unknown airport and not feel safe of what to do. What i´m trying to say it´s that the best way to understand clients is becoming one of them too.
