Day 01 Arrival, Yangon
Arrival at Yangon International airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Yangon

Day 02 Yangon
Breakfast at hotel and visit famous Insein Loco shed . Afternoon visit with Shwedagon Pagoda, which is claimed to be the world richest golden stupa of two thousand five hundred years old. The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Overnight in Yangon

Day 03 Yangon - Bago Myanmar Steam Locomotive Expedition
Breakfast at hotel and depart for Bago in time to make follow with loco. You may ride the loco train back to Bago from Nyaungkhashe. Afternoon visit with Bago Loco shed. Overnight in Bago.

Day 04 Bago - Nyaungkhashe - Waw - Kyaikhtyo
Breakfast at hotel and follow the Nyaunskhashe passenger steam loco up to Waw, from where divert to so called stone loco along Mottama line. Proceed to Kimpun camp and board on a truck for Yathetaung camp. From here walk up to the rewarding site of the Golden Rock. Observe the Pagoda site and fantastic sunset over the Thanlwin valley. Overnight in Kyaikhto.

Day 05 Kyaikhto - Mottama - Mawlamyaing Myanmar Steam Locomotive Expedition
Breakfast at hotel and return to the base camp. Meet your driver and continue follow with stone loco along the way to Mottama. Upon arrival cross Thanlwin river by Z craft to Mawlamyaig, the capital of Mon state. Overnight in Mawlamyaig.

Day 06 Mawlamyaig - Thanpyuzayat - Set Se - Mawlamyaig
Breakfast at hotel and visit Kyaikkhami pagoda site in the sea, continue to Thanbyuzayat, observe notorious Death Railway, WW II cemetery containing more than 3,000 graves of Allied POWs who toiled on the Death Railway connecting Thailand and Myanmar. Return to Mawlamyaig via Mudon with traditional weaving industries. Overnight in Mawlamyaing.

Day 07 Mawlamyaing - Abya - Nyaungkhashe - Bago
Breakfast at hotel and depart for Abya station . Divert to follow Nyaungkhashe - Bago loco up to Bago. Overnight in Bago.

Day 08 Bago - Pyuntansa - Madauk - Pyuntansa
Breakfast at hotel and depart for Pyuntansa. Visit loco shed in Pyuntansa while awaiting for passenger loco to depart for Madauk. Follow the afternoon loco to Madauk. On your return you may ride the loco back to Pyuntansa. Overnight in Pyuntansa.

Day 09 Pyuntansa - Madauk - Yangon
Breakfast at hotel and follow the morning passenger loco to Madauk. If you wish you may again ride the loco back to Pyuntansa. Afternoon visit Bago sightseeing and return to Yangon. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 10 Departure
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for your onward departure to conclude this unique adventure.

Myanmar Narrow Gauge

Day 01 Mandalay - Lashio - Namtu
Depart Mandalay for Namtu via Lashio by private coach . Upon arrival check in to the guesthouse. Lunch on the way, dinner and overnight at Myanmar Mine Railways guest house.

Day 02 Namtu - Bawtwin - Namtu
Breakfast at hotel and visit Loco shed at Namtu, observe engine No 13 starting up. Depart by narrow gauge to Tiger camp. Lunch at the camp and proceed to Bawtwin mining area by diesel engine. There is small electric loco at work to view at Tiger Camp. Return to Namtu by diesel. Dinner and overnight at guesthouse.

Day 03 Namtu - Lashio
Breakfast at hotel and depart by locomotive to the old Japanese mill site. From here on diesel to Nammyo station where to observe the loco engine No 14 at her shunting demonstration. Lunch at Nammyo and diesel back to Nasaing where you will meet with your coach and proceed to Lashio

Day 04 Lashio - Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel and depart for Mandalay to complete this unique experience.
As an option you can also return to Mandalay by schedule train through historic Gokehtaik viaduct <32 Down 05:30 - 19:50>. Enjoy activities such as people get on and off goods load and un loads at each village as train passes by slowly. It will be accelerating experience as your train passes on at historic Gokehtaik viaduct, built by British in 1902. Arrive Mandalay and transfer to hotel to complete this unique experience.
