Join me in my private car to visit the three towns of Marken, Volendam, Edam. They are situated close together. Marken is an island with quaint wooden houses and workshops for wooden shoe making. We can walk the footpaths and streets and sip coffee at the harbour. Volendam is known for its fishing boats and the many, many souvenir shops lining the harbour. Edam is well preserved cheese town and has wonderful little streets and squares. I am able to bring you there in my private car seating 3 or 4. For larger groups we may need to hire a minibus. The surronding landscape is stunning with flat polders, grass, the Frisian cows and the ever changing image of clouds over the waters. I am able to drop you off for a while in a cheese making farm or we can also make a pit stop by the way, on a dike, to stand in the breeze of the open landscape.
