Vincent van Gogh in Amsterdam & Otterlo

Vincent van Gogh had a hard life and a very difficult personality. As a young man he started out as an art salesman and a lay preacher. During the last 10 years of his life, between 1880 and 1890 he painted and drew ALL of his works. Financially and emotionally he was supported by his brother Theo.

In Holland the Van Gogh paintings are located in

the van Gogh museum, Amsterdam and

in Otterlo in a museum located in a nature park. The latter can be reached with my private car, seating 3 or 4.

His various home towns are also great for walking tours: Zundert, Nuenen, Amsterdam, The Hague etc... In my stories you will meet all of his famous contemporaries, both artists and clients.

As an art historian I wrote sevaral books on Van Gogh.
