Your guide will pick you up at a pre-arranged time, from here we will fly you to a backcountry river, enjoying our breath taking scenery from the air. You will spend the day casting to stalked and sighted fish ranging in size from 3lbs - 5lbs, always with the possibility of seeing and hooking into much larger fish. A backcountry lunch will be served on the riverbank. At the end of the day, settle into the hut while your guide prepares a nourishing and tasty meal by the fire. Enjoy the lack of noise and intrusion that these special places offer. The next day your guide will cook a solid Kiwi breakfast to see you through another day of presenting dry flies and nymphs to large trout in an untouched wilderness environment. The helicopter will then arrive to take you back to Queenstown.
Inclusive of: 4wd transfers, fishing guide, equipment, licenses, lunch and refreshments, digital images, safety, machine time, landing permits, accommodation, DoC concessions and GST.
