Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation at a pre-arranged time. From there we will fly you to the backcountry rivers that will best suit your abilities and the weather / river conditions of the day, enjoying our breath taking scenery on the way. You will spend the day casting to stalked and sighted fish ranging in size from 3lbs - 5lbs, always with the possibility of seeing and hooking into much larger fish. If you don't land the big one, the stunning mountain scenery and gin clear waters should be excellent rewards in themselves.
NB. The Helicopter drops us off at the beginning of the day and returns to pick us up at a later, pre-arranged time.
Inclusive of: 4wd transfers, fishing guide, equipment, licenses, lunch and refreshments, digital images, safety, risk management, machine time, landing permits, DoC concessions and GST.
NB. 2 persons maximum per guide
Cost NZ$3,300.00 per day NB.
This allows us to access any one of 5 different backcountry rivers in the Queenstown/Wakatipu area to be able to maximize the river and weather conditions of any given day. |
