Private tour in Krakow

Tour Price : 300 PLZ this is 110 USD or 75 Euro Duration : 4-5 hours Languages: English

Krakow is truly a very interesting city to visit. It is worth noting that it is one of the oldest cities in the whole Poland, and is considered to be its second largest city. As the matter of fact it has always been the very heart of academic, art and economic life in Poland. At the beginning Krakow was a small Stone Age settlement and currently it is one of the most important cities in Poland. It is literally filled with numerous historical monuments, places of interest, museums, remarkable models of architecture, castles and so on. Probably that’s why private tours in Krakow are always in demand.

As your private guide in Poland I will be assisting you during the tour and answering all your questions regarding the history and culture of Poland and Krakow in particular. The Old Town of Krakow deserves special attention as far as it was recently added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. It used to be the center of the political life of Poland since the beginning of the 11th century, and currently it is without any doubt the most famous old districts in Poland. The poles call the Old Town “Stare Miasto”. It Is definitely worth seeing, and no wonder so many tourists and travelers come to Krakow from all over the world. In spite of the fact that the Old Town was gone through many cataclysms it has managed to retain its original form, which was established in the Middle Age. It is always lively and crowded there, especially in the Main Market Square, which happens to be the biggest square in Europe.

Most of the tourist attractions of Krakow are concentrated here. Among them are the following ones: the Town Hall Tower, Adam Mickiewicz Monument, the Cloth Hall which is also known as the Sukiennice, and St. Mary’s Church. At the end of the tour we will also take a look at what’s left of the great Krakow fortifications – the Barbican and the Florian Gate.
