As the name of this tour suggests, you will journey back in time with visits to a number of fascinating museums. The first and most natural stop is the Qatar National Museum, where you will be transported through time in exploration of a rich history, and find a diverse and stimulating exhibit on marine life as well. Next, explore the excellent weaponry museum, where you can see a private collection of different weapons. Swords, daggers, canons, and pistols trigger the imagination, and conjure up a different era. This tour also includes Al Koot Fort, where samples of old Qatari handicrafts are exhibited. The final stop is the Ethnographic Museum, where you will be intrigued and fascinated with, amongst other things, the last remaining wind tower in Qatar, a feat of architecture by which homes were cooled before the days of electric air conditioners!
