This thematic tour is focused on the history of Bucharest and includes visits and stops to the most important landmarks in Romania's capital, from the oldest medieval monument to the gigantic Palace of the Parliament.

The tour starts with a guided visit in the second largest administrative building in the world and one of the most important communist monuments in Europe: the Palace of the Parliament. Afterwards we visit two old churches saved from the many demolitions that destroyed Bucharest during the communist time and stop for lunch.

In the second part of our tour, we start chronologically with a visit at the Old Court, hundreds of years ago the residence of local princes, including of the famous Vlad the Impaler who fortified it. We continue with a walk in the Old City Center, showing you the finest landmarks while telling their story. We also walk on Victoriei Avenue, the most historical street in Bucharest, making a short detour to the University Square.

By the end of the tour, you'll see all the major historical landmarks in Bucharest, including the squares where the anti-communist revolution from 1989 took place.
