One of the finest architectural monuments of the 19th century, the 4th biggest dome cathedral in the world,the largest one in Saint Petersburg able to accomodate up to 10000 people.The cathedral is graced with 112 solid granit columns weighing up to 114 tons each, and about 400 reliieves ad bronze sculptures.The observation platform on the colonnade provides a magnificent view of the city.
