4 or 5 Days Exploring The Beautiful Cape Garden Route Cape Garden Route Guided Tours - Route 62 - Barrydale - Klein Karoo - Cango Caves Oudtshoorn - Knysna Forest - Mossel Bay - Garden Route South Africa Day 1 After a hearty breakfast, leave Cape Town and drive over Du Toit's Kloof pass towards the town of Worcester. Travel onto Montagu, have lunch at the Country Pumpkin in Barrydale and then proceed leisurely through the Klein Karoo, driving through Ladismith and Calitzdorp before arriving at Oudtshoorn, where we overnight. Day 2 Breakfast - Visit the Cango caves, Wild life ranch and ostrich farm, after which we make our way over the spectacular Outeniqua pass to Knysna arriving at the boat John Benn, for a one and a half hour sunset cruise on the Knysna Heads ( included is a visit to the Featherbed nature reserve to view the endangered Sea horse) , before returning to our accommodation and settling in for the night. Day 3 Breakfast - After an early start for those shopoholics amongst us we then investigate the mysterious Knysna forest ( home of the elusive Elephant) taking in the Big Tree, Garden of Eden, Storms river mouth, Natures Valley and other scenic highlights before we return to Kynsna where we visit the Oyster factory , after which we return to our accommodation. Day 4 After breakfast, we return to Cape Town via Mossel Bay and visit the famous Aloe factory in Albertinia from which raw materials and medicines are made. We continue through Riversdale, Swellendam, past the town of Caledon with it's hot water springs and Casino. We then traverse Sir Lowry's pass back to Cape Town.
