Airport - Palma de Mallorca Airport or Aeropuerto de Palma de Mallorca (IATA: PMI, ICAO: LEPA) is the major airport in Mallorca, and has daily flights from many European cities on national and budget carriers. Airport located approximately 8 km east of Palma de Mallorca, next to the village C'an Pastilla, being a Hub of Europe's fourth largest Carrier, Air Berlin. The city's route 1 bus service runs between the city center and the airport every fifteen minutes between 6:15am and 2:30am.
Shopping - Stores in Palma offer handicrafts, elegant leather goods, Mallorcan pearls, and fine needlework. The best shopping is on the following streets: San Miguel, Carrer Sindicato, Jaume II, Jaume III, Carrer Plateria, Via Roman, and Passeig des Borne, plus the streets radiating from the Borne all the way to Placa Cort, where the city hall stands. Most shops close on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
