If you're tired of million-populated crowded cities, if you're looking for a slower rhythm of life and a piece of nature I'd like to invite you in one day car tour around Podillya. We'll visit small towns charming with their provincialism.

      Some of these towns were given Magdeburg rights in the Medyival, another were the residences of powerful Polish-Ukrainian-Lithuanian magnate families later on. More ancient of them remember even the legendary Kievan Rus times.

     Medzhybizh - a castle and fortifications (first mentioned in chronicles in 1146) - an orthodox church inside the castle (built in 1586), 18th century Jewish cemetery.

   The size of the castle which arose among the rural landscape will capture your imagination.

   Letychiv - a fortress (a stone one built in 1598), a dominican convent (Sanctuary), Ustym Karmàliuk's (Ukrainian Robin Hood and folk hero) grave.

    Starokostiantyniv - a fortress (built in 1571), a donzhon tower, an orthodox church.

     It's firstly mentioned in the the chronicles as a so-called "Bolohivska land" (the land of the Magi), namely: in 1241 Prince Danylo Halytskyy, the ruler of Galicia–Volhynia, held punitive action against its rulers, who would not obey him and paid tribute to the Tatars.

   Then we're going to visit the places not so old and a little more exquisite.

    Samchyky – a palace in Empire style, landscaped park, Chinese pavilion.

  You could see a gorgeous park in English style with exotic trees and the unique Cabinet in Japan style (Samurai Age).

  Antoniny - the palace ensemble of 18th сentury, landscape park of 19th century.

  You'll enjoy the the front entry ceremonial gates, decorated with massive vases and Potockyi and and Sangushky noble family coats of arms.

   Before getting back to your hotel we’ll find time to sample the traditional Ukrainian food in one of numerous roadside restaurants.
