Sean Janes - Raised in Juneau, Alaska.
Sean grew up in Juneau and has been guiding in Southeast Alaska for over 12 years. He has developed the guiding operations and trips for several local companies. He was Guide Manager at Gastineau Guiding Company for five years and Northstar Trekking for four years.
Sean has been a professional ski patroler for seven years. His family helped pioneer Juneau's only ski area, Eaglecrest, in the early 1970's. He is a third generation patroller, as his grandfather and father still patrol at the area. He completed the AMGA Ski Guide Course in 2002, and continues to pursue his love for skiing and the outdoors.
In addition to guiding, Sean is a certified 100-ton boat captain. His love for the water and mountains echoes in all aspects of his life.
Becky Janes - Raised in Juneau, Alaska.
Becky grew up in Juneau and has been guiding in Southeast Alaska for over 8 years. She was Operations Manager for Gastineau Guiding Company for five years, and worked as a Glacier Guide at Northstar Trekking for three years.
Becky has a passion for climbing, and teaches local indoor and outdoor climbing courses throughout the year. When not guiding, Becky enjoys trail running and walking her dog Kokanee (a Tibetan Kyiapyso), with her husband Sean.
