Starting from Sydney city at about 8am, you will be taken north over the Harbour Bridge and first head to a wildlife sanctuary for morning tea among the kangaroos, a special experience that is unique to Australia. We then head towards our famous wine region along a scenic drive through the countryside where the moring will take you to Wollombi village before hitting the heart of the Hunter Valley which will comprise of tasting chocolate, cheese, wine, and beer amongst the vines. The day will include a visit to 3 boutique wineries that have an international reputation for providing award winning wine varieties. And of course no day is complete without a chocolate tasting, which will be done at a local chocolate factory to prepare your appetite for lunch. A 3 course lunch with wine will be provided at The Cellar restaurant within the Hunter Valley Garden Village and the afternoon will also see you visiting a local brewery for some locally produced beer, and a tour of a cheese factory. The day will finish in Sydney at around 7.30pm where you will arrive with full stomachs, a little sleepy, very relaxed and happy with the long but fulfilling day.
