Besides the general sightseeing tour, we will visit several museums and expositions. The Hundertwasserhaus is one of the most popular places in Vienna! Well, actually it is an apartment house, but not an ordinary one. Some people call it an expressionist landmark, and they are not mistaken. This apartment house really looks quite extraordinary!

It was built after the creative idea and concept of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, a famous Austrian artist, and a talented architect – Joseph Krawina. Just like the architectural monuments of Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona, the creation of Hundertwasser was his reaction against the boring conventional architecture of his contemporaries. He tried to create something closer to nature, which doesn’t have any of those unnatural straight lines. His apartment house looks like a bizarre colorful patchwork and it is considered to be one of the most popular landmarks of Vienna.

Our next destination will be the KunstHausWien, a famous museum in the capital of Austria. It houses the permanent exhibition of Hundertwasser’s numerous worls. According to the statistics the museum attracts approximately 200 000 of visitors each year. Besides the works of the famous Austrian artist, from time to time there are exhibitions of some other talented artists. During our private tour we will also visit the Vienna Prater, an amusement park. For some people it is a place where you inevitably feel nostalgia, for others it is an oasis of entertainment, greenery and bright coloured candies.
