We pick you up at your hotel with your luggage and drive towards the starting point. This comprehensive tour begins in Dunkirk, with “Operation Dynamo” : The evacuation of British and French troops from the beaches encircled by the Germans at the end of May 1940 . Further along the coastline to Dieppe where in August 1942 “Operation Jubilee” took place; This was the prelude to D-Day and was mainly executed by Canadian Forces. We continue our trip towards the beaches of Normandy, not without having visited some typical Atlantic towns and sampled the local specialities.

Based in Caen, we visit the area and include in our visit the historical sites of Normandy. Also a visit to the landing beaches of “Operation Overlord” , the British and Canadian Sword, Juno and Gold beaches and the US lead Omaha and Utah beaches. Also included is a visit to the American cemetery at Colleville, the Canadian War Cemetery at Bény-sur-Mer and the German cemetery at La Cambre. Between visits to war monument and military sites we also visit a camembert factory and a Calvados Distillery.
