Omodos village and Kelephos Venetian medieval bridge - optional easy walk

Omodos village is one of the largest villages of Krasochoria (which means 'Wine villages') in Greek. Indeed vineyards and wine have been through the centuries and till today prime produce for this collection of preserved villages north of bustling Limassol. Omodos developed around the ancient monastery of the Holly Cross and is a popular destination for visitors. (if travellers prefer we can visit a less touristy nearby village - eg Arsos or Vasa).  Travellers will have the chance to walk around the narrow alleys of the village and/or have a Cyprus Coffee or lunch there.  There's also an old grape press in Omodos that travelers can visit.

Kelephos bridge is the most photographed of the twenty or so remaining medieval bridges in Cyprus, found just inside Paphos Forest.  The location is very scenic,  the bridge is shaded by alder trees and water is flowing under the bridge year round. 

I recommend to do a walk near Kelephos bridge, inside Paphos Forest, with the possibility of spotting moufflon (a Cyprus endemic wild sheep subspecies). Conversely we could skip Kelephos bridge and instead do the flat Artemis walk (at about 1, 800 m) in Troodos. It offers gorgeous vistas, unique geology and habitat.
