We leave Munich at 9 h by train till Füssen city and come back to Munich about 18h. We visit Füssen with a very interesting city center. Then, we visit de Hohenschwangau Castle that was built by Maximilian II King, son of Ludwig I and father of Ludwig II of Bavaria.
Finally we visit the Neuschwanstein Castle that was built by Ludwig II. Ludwig II never saw the Castle built so he died without seing it finished. Ludwig II wanted to build and Middle Age Style Castle with Romantic details making a fantasy Castle. We speak about Kings, wars, architecture, art, food, religion, etc. King Ludwig II had a very strict education with studies and exercises. Later during his adult live had a several lovers, and in political terms his kingdom was marked for the Prussia war, so Bavaria lost.
His pasion was the music and specialy the Richard Wagner music. He was the patron of the artist and make that Wagner writes more Operas. The other passion was the architecture and he built the Neuschwanstein Castel, the Linderhof Palace and the Herrenchiemsee Palace.
