This tour is a special one and that’s why it is almost as popular as the private tour in Florence. We will start our trip early in the morning and explore 5 Italian seaside villages. The Italians call them Cinque Terre. These five villages are Monterosso al Mare, Corniglia, Manarola, Vernazza and Riomaggiore. They all make up the Cinque National park and are considered to be the World Heritage Site. For centuries people built terraces on the steep and rugged cliffs.

This place is a very popular tourist destination. We will start from Riomaggiore, which is the very first from the five towns. It is situated in a small valley somewhere in the Liguria region of Italy. According to the historians the village appeared back in the 13th century. For centuries it has been popular for its wine and historic character. There are numerous restaurants, bars and trattorias in Riomaggiore, so if you can’t sleep at night, you will have an opportunity to spend there great time.  After exploring the village we will move to the other one, and here we have two options: we can use the famous “way of love” or we may travel either by train or by boat.

You should take into consideration that there is no way you will ride on a car from one village to another. It is strictly prohibited. As a professional private guide in Florence I would strongly recommend you to visit one of the churches in Manarola. According to the historians this church served as a lookout point for pirates.
