Day 1: It is an early start from Muscat, as we head off towards Jabal Shams for our first night. We pass through the old capital city of Nizwa taking time to visit the Jabrin Fort and the Nizwa Souk. Jabrin Fort was still in operation until the end of the last centure and Nizwa Souk is full of Silver surprises just waiting to be snatches up. After enjoying a traditional Omani lunch we set off for Jabal Shams we set up camp and enjoy the taste sensation that is an Omani barbeque.
Day 2: After Enjoying a hearty breakfast we head off back to Muscat via Al Hamra Road where we stop to visit the Bait Al Safah Traditional ancient house to experience true Omani hospitality and culture and learn about Omani traditions. This house dates back hundreds of years and is a definite must see. Enjoy the flavour of real Omani coffee and breads as well as dates.
