This tour is good for the beginning. It would allow you to see the main sites of the downtown.

The downtown of the city is huge and spread out. It is quite hard to explore it by foot. So I suggest you to take a guide and a car or minivan in order to have an exiting adventure. In this tour you‘ll get the feeling of what is remarkable and what is unusual in this city. 

Saint-Petersburg seriously differs from the other cities in the world. Its downtown is a chain, a system of connected Squares. We will see it in our tour. I’d suggest to start from St. Isaak’s Square. Senate Square with the famous monument to Peter the Great, Seven Bridges, Sphinxes, Spit of Basils’ Island, Peter and Paul Fortress, Palace Square, Arts Square, Church on the Spilled Blood and other places are in your tour. If time permits we walk at Nevsky prospect, where I show you interesting sites not visible from the first glance. 

It is easy to learn architecture in Saint-Petersburg. There are several leading styles like Baroque, Classicism, Empire Style, Constructivism. You’ll see most of them during our tour.

During our ride you have stops for taking pictures. Feel free to discuss the tour. St.Isaac’s Cathedral, Church on the Spilled Blood are closed on Wednesdays.
