Meeting in the morning.

Visiting to the Zemun and Gardos tower. (Zemun is a historical town and one of the 17 municipalities in Belgrade. Zemun history starts in the 3rd century. It’s located on the right bank of the Danube, where the widening of the Danube begins and the Great War Island is formed at the mouth of the Sava river.)

Visiting the memorial complex Avala - observation deck.Lunch in the ethno-national restaurant with tasting drinks. (Avala is mountain that overlooks Belgrade. Avala has been protected as a monument of nature since 1859 and it is a traditional picnic resort for Belgraders. Some attractions and capacities on the mountain include:

Avala Tower, landmark TV Tower that was destroyed during the 1999 NATO bombing Serbia, later rebuilt;

Hotel "Avala";

Monument to the Unknown Hero- dedicated to the unknown Serbian soldier from World War I; it was completed in 1938. An earlier monument was erected in 1915 at the location by the German soldiers, on the orders of Field marshal August von Mackensen.

Monument to the Soviet war veterans- dedicated to the members of the Soviet military delegation which died in an airplane crash on the Avala. Memorial Park – dedicated to the victims of the World War II)

Return to Belgrade to visit temple of Saint Sava. (One of he biggest ortodox temple in the world); visit to the Tasmajdan park, church St. Marko and Russian church.

We will proceed along the Boulevard of King Aleksandar where are city council and the assembly of the Republic. We will  walk through Terazije square to Knez Mihailova Street and then to the Kalemegdan- Belgrade fortress. Kalemegdan is a very old fortress, so no wonder there are so many traces of different histories out there: Celtic, Byzantine, Austro-Hungarian and of corse Serbian.

If there is enough time we can include a cruise on the Danube and Sava rivers or we can finish your first introduction with this beautifull city with dinner in Skadarlija street, generally considered the main bohemian quarter of Belgrade.

Let us show you how to fall in love with Belgrade and Serbia!
