You asked for feed back from our experiences. We arrived earlier than expected at Michelia Hotel. In view of being bombarded by countless others all toting for our business we sought refuge in the Hotel. We had not expected your guide to be there at that point. However, we kept on popping out to look for our name tag and couldn't find our guide. Each time we were harassed by others trying to take us. The hotel porter also kept a look out for us. About 10minutes after 11.00 one local taxi driver took it upon himself to go and try and find our guide and eventually located him. We would not have done so. and would have expected him to come to the hotel foyer or at least the steps of the hotel.
These were extremely anxious moments. Our guide was very friendly although his English was barely not at all good. We could not converse with him.
These are the negatives. We did have a really good experience after that and visited all that we could have wished for although would have welcomed a little longer at some of the sights. This especially since we were dropped back at 1.00 p.m. The extra 10 minutes which we lost trying to find the guide in the first place would have been welcome.
We would use you again and mention the above so that others may not feel as vulnerable as we did when we couldn't find the guide.
The tour we took was very good and a lovely experience. It would have been better if better English had been spoken by at least one of the drivers.
