Brenda: Hello. We are 3 adults who will be spending two weeks in March in Buenos Aires. We will stay in 3 different apartments (Recoleta, Palermo, and San Telmo). Our interests are food (shopping, cooking, and eating), wine, history, and architecture. We are interested in your services for:
1) pick up at airport on March 18 at 10am (arriving from USA) and tranportation to our apt. in Recoleta
2) walking tour of Recoleta on March 19 (3-4 hours in the morning) - we would want the walk to include stops at good food shopping stores
3) Trip to the pampas on March 22 - not interested in horseback riding - more interested in the scenery - 5-7 hours)
4) Trip to San Isidro, Igre, Parana Delta on March 23 (5-8 hours)- reservations for a nice place for lunch
5) Walking tour of San Telmo/La Boca on March 28 (3-5 hours) - including good lunch
6) Reservations for a high quality Tango show, March 30 (do not need dinner unless you know of a Tango show that serves really good food)
7) Arrange for a taxi to go to the airport on March 31 in the afternoon AND on April 1 in the morning.
Please let me know your price to help us with the above. A key area of interest is seeing the premier food vendors for meats, cheese, vegetables, wines, breads, etc. We also would be interested in a wine tasting class if you know of anything. We have already booked a cooking class.
Richard: We (4) will be visiting Buenos Aires (first time visitors) myself, my wife and two adult daughters. We arrive 18 Nov and depart on 17 Nov. Staying at the Sol Melia in San Martin 474. We are very interested in a cultural and historical tour to introduce us to your city .. BUT.. we don't want to be stuck in a bus or van. We like to walk and for longer distances the subway or the bus is great. Can we do cultural/historical tour this way.. no problem for us if it takes longer than 4 hours. We're also considering a guided trip outside the city to Tigre (perhaps on Monday 16 Nov). Perhaps you might have other suggestions for one day away from the city ?
Of course we want to see a tango show, but not a tourist show with strobe lights and 60 piece orchestra.
Also, do you arrange for pick-up and return transportation to EZE ?
Can you give me an estimate of your fees; this will help me determine how much time we can spend together.
If you are interested in showing us Buenos Aires I can give you more personal information about ourselves that will help you show us the places and things you feel will interest us.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Lina: Hello Guide,
My name is Lina Haimsky. We live in Los Angeles, but originally from Russia and Israel.
Myself, my husband and my parents are going to be in Buenos Aires on a cruise ship for 2 days: December 8 and 9. My parents are 81 years old, so we can't do th walking tour with them. They also do not speak much English, so I will have to translate for them.
We would like to do a Jewish Buenos Aires tour, a full day city tour, maybe visit MNBA. We are interested in History, Art and Adchitecture.
We would also like to attend a Tango Show (Esquina carlos Gardel?), but we do not need a dinner, just show. (We will have dinner on the ship, as we are not used to eating so late).
Can you please send me a suggested itinerary and a quote for 2 days services?
Thank you very much,
JOHN: Hello Guide,
My name is John.
I have two clients that are traveling to B.A., arriving on the morning of August 18 and leaving late on the 24th.
Would you be able to show them the city? They are especially interested in the history and the culture. They are not much into shopping.
