The capital of Sichuan Province and known for being the natural habitat of giant pandas is Chengdu. Located in the center of the Chengdu Plain it covers over four-thousand miles with over eleven million people populating its extremely fertile land. Known as the ‘Heavenly State’ it’s a land rich in natural resources and beauty. 

From watching a Sichuan Opera performance to whitewater rafting, swimming or holding a baby panda, there are many things to see and do in Chengdu. See the Bronze Goat Taoist Temple, the oldest Taoist temple in the city. Visit Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area. Here you will have many photo opportunities with waterfalls, temples, valleys, rocks, ponds and snow-covered mountains. Visit the Three-Star Piles Museum to see excavations of the ancient Shu Kingdom.

You won’t go hungry in Chengdu as there are food stalls on nearly every corner.
