This touring day centers around Tunis’s archaeological heritage, and its wealthy architecture. This morning includes the visit of the Roman baths of Antonine the Roman villas, Byrsa hill, the former Punic harbor and the Tophet (Punic roasting place) as well as the charming Andalousian village of Sidi Bou Said with spectacular views over the bay and the mountains beyond .

The town is famous for its architecture and its blue and white buildings. After lunch we drive to visit the Bardo Tunisia’s National Museum with its archaeological collections. The museum is displaying the world’s largest collection of Roman mosaics and other priceless treasures from various parts territories throughout Tunisia.

Afterwards we move to the Medina old Arabic city for a walk around the most interesting monuments such as the Great mosque and the Coranic School. Here you will have time for shopping with possibility to attend an exposition of Berber rugs. End of the tour and return to hotel / harbour or airport
